With these meetings, we will meditatie on a regular basis.
Aim is learning and practicing on ‘how to meditate’.
Regular meditation deepens its effects and becomes increasingly stable.
Without quidance it is possible that our meditation will not develop in the right way.
Meditation is surely a method to develop our inner goodness, strength and harmony.
It can soften the negative and enhance the positive, whatever our personal circumstances.
Yet meditation is not a quick win, she may accompany us every day and throughout our life.
This workshop is for those who want to learn more about meditation and the different methods available.
The meditation examples introduced are practical and varied, so you can use those that fit best.
The explanation about meditation that is given, is based on ancient filosophy and techniques from Tibetan Buddhism.
However, there is no need, to be or to become a buddhist.
After this workshop, it will be possible to continue with a guided practice in small groups to further build up experience.
Participation is open to all, it is not necessary to be or become a Buddhist.
The workshop and meditations will be lead by Leen van der Meij, a Buddhist Monk with 26 years of classical meditation experience.
The meetings are always based on three parts: Philosophy of meditation, instructions on meditation and several meditation practices.
