Meditation is a method to develop inner peace, harmony and stability. This means that in stressful or emotionally charged moments people are able to respond more evenly to those situations. The quality of thinking, speaking and acting becomes more balanced. Meditation promotes openness to the background of others. Respect and empathy are gaining strength.
In the course, meditation is practiced with an experienced Buddhist-trained monk based on philosophy, instruction and conversation. After the course, participants can independently apply different and simple meditation techniques. They have an idea about their personal motivation and their preference for certain meditation methods.
